Helping Others

The only time to be selfish is when it’s time to give; give more, get more.

There comes a time in everyone’s life to realise that there is more to the world than themselves. Giving back does not mean giving money; there are many ways to give. Perhaps you have a set of skills that someone could benefit from. Maybe you have a few hours spare to invest your time or try to provide more than expected. For some, it’s early, regardless of when it becomes apparent, start!

The Way of the Horse

The Way of the Horse is a not for profit social enterprise Equine facilitated learning company that has developed self-help programs for children and adults who have suffered emotional trauma with the assistance of our sentient friend ‘The Horse’.

Shama Women’s Centre

For more than 35 years, Shama have helped empower women to become more active, economically, educationally and socially. Through a range of activities they develop their confidence, employability skills, health and wellbeing.

I have been working with Anks for the past 3 years, and he has supported me with lots of different elements including web design and marketing strategy. During this time, he has helped me with brainstorming and planning marketing strategies, designed and developed several websites, created a range of branded resources, whilst keeping me focused on the end message and key demographic. Anks’ expertise in this area is so inspiring and eye-opening and he is fantastic at challenging my ideas to really get me to think about what I am trying to achieve. His contribution and support has been of real value for me and the charities I work with and I can’t thank him enough for always pushing me further.
